BASIC

This module introduces PHONICS as a way to sound out words, not relying on mere memorization. The constant practice of phonics builds up a child’s confidence in handling unfamiliar words. A child is exposed to more sentences or even short-paragraph reading.

INTENSIVE

With the affinity and confidence to handle more sounds and words in sentences, children are introduced to simple storybooks. With the introduction of phonics, children are guided to read with UNDERSTANDING. They find themselves more interested and confident in the texts they read.

EXTENSIVE

This module exposes children to a greater range of storybooks. Extensive reading modules build the width of reading materials, and strengthen their vocabulary. Children are trained to ARTICULATE and RETELL what they have read.
